Recipe – Creamy Turmeric Latte 


There are multiple ways to make this delicious hot drink.   This one is a creamy version. 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C of plant milk
  • 1/2 C of water
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric
  • 2 medjool dates pitted
  • 1/4 C almonds  
  • Pinch black pepper

Instructions
Process all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth liquid

Pour the liquid into a small pot and heat for 3 to 5 minutes

Serve immediately

  1. What I coincidence that this just came up in my reader! I just now finished publishing a post on turmeric hummus and the incredible health benefits of turmeric. I’ve heard about turmeric lattes, and have been thinking about trying it out soon. I love the idea of adding dates into it! Lately, I’ve also been on a bit of a molasses kick, so I wonder if that might work in place of dates as well…I might just have to try both out! 😀

  2. That’s great. I have to take a look at your blog too. Molasses would work great too I am sure. Maple syrup or dates work well. Dates are my preferred sweetener.

  3. Absolutely! I love dates. I actually got a pitcher of date molasses at a Persian shop the other day. Have you ever tried it? It’s lovely.
