As I run long distances which can last for many hours I find there is nothing more my
body craves than some salt and dark chocolate. So this is the perfect spread to eat
on my sandwiches whilst I am running on the beautiful trails.
Bonus is that no animals have been used or abused to produce this spread. All my recipes
are vegan, not because I am on a health cruise to be more healthy. It’s because I
believe it is morally wrong to use or abuse animals. We do not need to do this. It is
all to pleasure our taste-buds at the end of the day.
So as Prof Gary Francione describes it:
If you are not vegan, please go vegan. Veganism is about nonviolence.
First and foremost,it’s about nonviolence to other sentient beings. But it’s
also about nonviolence to the earth and nonviolence to yourself.
