been adding it to various food that I make for a few years now.

LSA is basically an abbreviation of Linseed, Sunflower seeds and Almond nuts. I really love it and it makes me feel good !!

LSA here in Australia can be found in Woolworths and also in all health stores.. This is a power food. Why ? Read this excerpt from one manufacturer.

What is LSA?

Energy Fields LSA is a specially formulated combination of linseed (flaxseed) sunflower seed and almond which is made into a ground meal using an air cooled slow grinding process, taking care not to destroy the integrity of the grain.

At Energy Fields we use the highest quality ingredients and source our linseed from Australian growers. This means, the linseed in our LSA has not been heat or chemically treated, and therefore, the essential fatty acids of Omega 3 6 & 9 have not been affected.

LSA is used to cleanse and detox the liver which plays a very important role in the body.
The liver is the cleanser and filter of the bloodstream, it regulates fat metabolism and makes HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) which acts as a scavenger and carries the LDL (bad) cholesterol back to the liver for processing. The liver also secretes bile which breaks down and removes excess and unwanted fat from the body.
Energy Fields LSA benefits the body by providing many essential vitamins and minerals.

LSA is an excellent source of

fibre
omega 3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids

How to use your Energy Fields LSA meal-

We recommend that you use 1-2 tablespoons per day of Energy Fields LSA. It can be added to your morning cereal, to yogurt, smoothies, or any recipe just to increase its nutrient value. It can also be sprinkled on salads and fruit.
LSA can be used when baking cakes, muffins or bread, but this heating will effect some of the nutrient value of the LSA.
LSA should be kept cool refrigerated to ensure the essential fatty acids remain stable.
