I love roasting and eating chestnuts. The method I use is probably the one that most people use, but I will share it anyway.
450g (1 Ibs) – Chestnuts
Make a cross with a sharp knife (this can be dangerous so make sure you dont slice your fingers)
Steam – Now place Chestnuts into a basket steamer and steam for 15 minutes
Roast – Place the chestnuts onto an oven tray and pop in the oven for 15 – 25 minutes Oven set to 425F/220C
